Aced!
This family rocked their family pictures right away at the beginning of the session. They make it look easy right? I mean even the dog is looking at the camera! A+ guys, job well done!
I took a pic of just mom & dad together because I know how rare that occurrence seems to be once you’ve had kids! Also snagged a great shot of their dog since he was being so cute. And the boys had some great outfits to show off too.
This last one is a favorite from the session.

holiday cards!
Hello everyone! I am so happy to finally have some Holiday card designs ready for tiny sprout! These are available to any current or previous tiny sprout clients. They are 5×7 in size, come printed on photo paper with envelopes in sets of 25 for $35. Our deadline for ordering cards this year will be December 3rd.
Handsome
My absolute favorite moment from this session was when big sis E told her little brother, “Oh W, you’re so handsome!”. Sweetest moment between a brother and sister ever! You’ll totally agree with her when you see this next pic.
Yup, sweater vest and a bow tie = Handsome. Of course we can’t forget about Miss E. She was all energy! And had a silly scrunchy nose face that came out whenever the camera was on her, but I still got some good shots!
This is my favorite of brother and sister together… I adore their curls.
Mom and Dad got in a few shots too! We were on our way back to the studio when I spotted this grey wall. It was perfect with the colors in their outfits (which they did an awesome job coordinating). Since it was the end of the shoot the kids were pretty much D.O.N.E but I kind of prefer family shots like these ones where not everyone is looking and smiling.
I’d have to say that they are all quite handsome. Nice to meet you N family, thanks for coming in!
Embrace yourself
If you’ve read my ”about me” page on the Tiny Sprout website then you probably already know that one of my favorite blogs lately is Ashley Ann’s Under the Sycamore. Earlier this month she had a guest blogger who touched on a topic that I feel pretty strongly about… And that is taking pictures WITH your kids… Yup, putting yourself in front of the camera instead of behind it. GULP! right??! So many mom’s just aren’t comfortable with this, they tell me they want to lose some weight first, or they’re worried about double chins, or that they just don’t like the way they look in photos. End of story… but that shouldn’t be the end of the story. Think of this from a different point of view, your child’s. Or think of this in regards to your own parents. Do you have many pictures of you growing up with your mom? Do you know what she looked like when you were just learning to walk? Or how happy she was when you would “help” her make cookies when you were 2? Or how you made her laugh by making silly faces when you were 3? Do you see what I’m getting at? I don’t think your babies are going to care about your double chin when they look back on their childhood photos 30 years from now. They are simply going to want a glimpse of day to day life with you, their mama.

I love these ones that Ria took of us. Liv will randomly give me kisses on the cheek and it always melts my heart. And I know she won’t always be so willing to run into my open arms.
And here’s a picture of another lovely mama with her baby! You’ve probably already seen this one in On The Minds of Mom’s, but I just love it…
So, it’s time to get over your insecurities and get comfortable being in front of the lens. I don’t care if you take 458 pictures and only like one of them. At least you’ll be de-sensitizing yourself 
. We have no excuses! Our cameras are digital! At least our own moms can get away with the excuse of film. Remember, memory cards are cheap, memories of you with your kids are priceless.
Of course you can always set up a fun photo session for you and your babies with Tiny Sprout! We work hard to make moms look good! And I promise that you’ll always look beautiful when you’re relaxed and simply loving on your favorite little people. Sometimes the best photos are ones where no one is even looking at the camera. Hi everyone! It’s so amazing outside today! Hope you’re all making the most of it. I just wrapped up a fun family session and can’t wait to edit them! So I wanted to share a couple things, the new issue of On The Minds of Mom’s is out and you’ll find our ad on page 42. Isn’t she a sweetie?! And you can also find my friends baby A in the shutterbug section .
I also wanted show you guys one of my recent craft projects for Liv.
I’m so pleased with how this tent turned out! And Liv loves playing in it. When she first got a chance to explore it she told me it was “pretty neat!!”. For those of you interested I followed this tutorial. And trust me, this tent is not perfect, you can’t see the folds and safety pins at the back! And since I’m not much of a sewer I was very thankful that the fabric on the bottom had nice straight horizontal lines to cut and sew along. That totally saved me as far as making the bottom even.

Do you ever have days where it is just so hard to be creative? Well today is my day…it is Monday after all! Anyone else have those kind of Monday’s?? Anywho…check out this brother and sister duo! This first picture has to be my favorite. Doesn’t he just look like he belongs in a magazine?!
And little Miss “C”…well she positively had the cutest little outfit (that her gramma made for her…jealous!) and the cutest little pigtails! It matched her spunky little personality perfectly!
Ok so with all of that being said and looking at these two cute kiddo’s, my Monday doesn’t seem so “uncreative” after all!
Double dose…
Yay it’s Friday! And it’s about to get even better because I’ve got a double dose of baby cuteness for the blog today. Kane and Caroline had their newborn pictures done by Ria and came back in to get some 4 month pictures. They’ve grown quite a bit! And they sure weren’t sleepy this time.
In fact, they were quite happy and spunky! Kane was especially smiley because he had just woken up from a bit of a nap.
Caroline brought lots of fun accessories with her, this hat was one of my favorites. It was a perfect match with this amazing Amy Butler fabric.
