Birthday session, take #2 & #3!
Claire turned 1 earlier this month! Her mom is a good friend of mine and we had talked about doing her birthday pictures for a good half a year now. We planned out the outfits and had a fun idea for cake pictures. Finally it was time for her session!! But a certain New Years Blizzard meant that we had to reschedule for a couple days later… Grrrr… ohwell.
Two days later we met up at the loft. I started clicking and got those cute pictures above. We moved on to a couple more outfits but it was pretty obvious that Claire wasn’t feeling that great. It was VERY obvious when she puked 
. Since we didn’t have a chance to do her cake pictures we re-scheduled again. The third time, and second cake, was a charm!!

We even braved the cold for a couple of minutes!

All the way from Sweden ~ [fm area baby photographer]
Yes that’s right…this little doll came all the way from Sweden to have her pictures taken! Ok, as much as I would like to think that is the reason she came all the way to ND, I must admit she came to visit family and just happened to book a session with Tiny Sprout. Either way she still came all the way from Sweden! Ha! We had soooo much fun the day her and her family came up to the studio.

6 month old beanSPROUT
Little M is growing up fast! It was so fun to see her again, she’s so much bigger than her 3 month session! She wasn’t feeling 100% on the day of her shoot, we had the tissues near-by the whole time. But she still rocked it and we got so many good shots. Here she is showing off her first Christmas dress!
Then we decided to try out some fun hats from the prop closet.
My absolute favorite shot from her session is this next one. It literally took my breath away. This is for sure one of those photos that just needs to be on canvas.

4 years old!
With all the weather craziness and holidays I hadn’t gotten a chance to blog about this cute 4 year old yet. She came in for a session with her daddy and had lots of fun playing and running and jumping.This is my favorite shot of dad and his baby girl.

Fave’s of 2010 Contest!
First off, THANK YOU so much for making 2010 such a great year at Tiny Sprout. Even though we didn’t get started until August we still met lots of great families, spunky kiddos and cute babies. We thought it would be fun to share our absolute favorite portraits from 2010, but decided to make it a bit more interesting…
So here’s the scoop. We’ve posted all of our favorite photos on our facebook page in an album called Favorite Portraits Contest 2010. The photo with the most “likes” by midnight on Sunday January 9th wins that family a $50 credit. That’s right! $50 to use however your heart desires. Could go towards another session or towards ordering more prints from your 2010 session. So get busy bribing I mean politely asking your friends, family and strangers to “like” your kiddos photo. In order to do this they’ll need to be a fan of the Tiny Sprout facebook page first, once they’ve done that they can thumbs-up your photo!
Now let’s see all of the 2010 cuties!
We’ll announce the winner of the $50 credit on the blog Monday January 10th. Can’t wait to see who the it is! Good luck everyone!
