3 month sweetie!
This sweet little 3 month old came up for a session awhile ago now. Her mom & dad brought along some fun fun clothes and we had a great morning. Plenty of time to try out lots of pretty headbands
She seemed happiest sitting up (with a bit of help from mom) or on her tummy!
This next shot was taken just before she rolled over onto her back for the very first time. She seemed very proud of her accomplishment! Maybe she was planning on showing off all along…
Loved this cute little dress…
Watch the blog early next week for information about our upcoming mini-sessions! We’re very excited about it!
Perfect!
I’m pretty sure I could have gotten fined for overusing the word “Perfect!” during this session. But I couldn’t help it!! Lucy was a perfect little 1 year old model. Her entourage completely agreed with me (mommy, daddy and both grandmas!). We were all laughing and cooing over Lucy’s cuteness the entire session. Just check out how perfect this close-up shot is!
One of Lucy’s grandma’s had just gotten back from a Hawaiian vacation. She sure made for a cute little hula girl!!
Her party was the following weekend so we all got a preview of her fantastic birthday outfit, such fun colors!!
This next outfit was almost as cute as her sweet little smile.
Thanks so much for the perfect session Lucy and entourage!! Have a great Easter weekend everyone!
sweetness ~ [NATURAL LIGHT BABY PHOTOGRAPHER]
Sweetness just about sums up Miss Briann’s photoshoot. She was the sweetest little girl! So smiley and happy. It was so hard to pick just a few to share with all of you that’s for sure!
See what I mean? How can you not love this smile??
Sigh…how could you not fall in love with her! Thank you “M” family for making my job so easy!
New York Baby!
This little sweetie was visiting from New York City! Although I would like to think she came just to get some cute pictures, I’m pretty sure it was more to visit her grandparents and aunts and uncles. Mom brought along lots of fun outfits. Including this cute little pea pod snuggly thingy.
She seemed quite content in her little pea pod thingy, and I don’t blame her one bit!!
She got a bit sleepy towards the end of out session so we decided to put a tutu on her and get some cute sleepy shots. Also got a couple of her just waking up!
Thanks so much for visiting! Hope you’ll be back to visit us someday!
family of 4 ~ [FARGO FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER]
I’m back! It has been awhile since I’ve blogged. Thank you to all of the patiently waiting families! This family of 4 came to the loft awhile back…
And this little mama was full of energy! Love her smile.
Let’s not forget her baby brother…so easy going. Went along with whatever we chose to do with him.
I love this last photo. Look at the look shes giving him…same look I used to give my baby brother! Ha!
Thanks for the fun session guys!
9 months!
Our little beanSprout is growing up!! You can see her 3 month session here, her 6 month session here, and keep scrolling to see her adorable 9 month pictures!
Baby M is such a happy kiddo, always smiling! Just loved her green shirt, it really pops in our cool bubble chair!
We also pulled out the pink chair to go with her cute pink plaid dress. I love how these turned out with the slight retro processing. Such a pretty girl
If you’ve got a new baby and want to capture every moment then you should seriously consider our beanSprout plan! It now includes a complimentary family session!! More details here.
Quilt… Check!
I’m happy to report that I’ve checked off “Make a Quilt” from my list of things to do someday. It’s not perfect by any means and I ended up spending more than I wanted and changing up my game plan a few dozen times. But, overall, I really like it and I’m mostly just happy to have it off my to do list! Pretty sure I won’t be making another one anytime soon. But if I do I already know that it will be on a much smaller scale! So, here it is!
Liv is quite happy with her “big blankie”. I meant to have it done when we switched her to the big girl bed, but it took me a bit longer to finish. Thankfully she didn’t freeze in the meantime. On the day that I did get it done I promptly picked out a coordinating outfit for Liv and hauled her and the quilt up to the loft to get some fun pictures.
In case you’re wondering, I got my main fabrics from etsy.com. It’s amazing how much stuff you can find on that site… Anyways, I ordered a Layer Cake which is 10″ pre-cut squares, and then some extra yardage of my favorite prints. It’s a line designed by Liz Scott for Moda Fabrics called Sugar Pop (visit her blog here and etsy shop here). When I first came across these fabrics online I knew I wanted to use them. I LOVE the color combos and the cute sorta retro yet organic patterns. For the back fabric I completely lucked out and found a nice match at JoAnn’s. It wasn’t my original intent to hand tie the quilt but it was sort of my only option and it does add a bit of a vintage touch.
Liv was in a fantastically cooperative mood this day and I was able to get so many awesome shots. Here’s a few more of her silly faces.
I have a quite a few cute sessions to get up on the blog soon, so please stop back soon!
